'Game of Thrones' season 6 news, cast, spoilers: Kit Harrington slips a few clues about Jon Snow's future
Although a few months have already passed since Jon Snow had met his demise in the "Game of Thrones" season 5 finale, many are still in denial that he is completely out of the picture. Theories started to come up and everyone began to take their pick on which is the most plausible. However, this time, Kit Harrington himself, who plays Jon Snow, may have given a hint that there is a future waiting for him in the show.
Harrington, along with the directors, has continuously confirmed that Jon Snow is dead. Their reiteration of the fact is almost believable until images of season 6 filming started to surface. A recent gathering of the cast in Belfast for shooting included Harrington, which has started discussions everywhere that he will once again be back this upcoming season. Aside from Belfast, he seems to be seen just where production is, such as in Northern Ireland, which makes many think that it must be more than just coincidence.
According to Screen Rant, Harrington was recently interviewed by Humo, a Belgium magazine, where he might have accidentally gave a clue about his further appearances in the show. During the interview, he mentioned how he seemingly has no time to take on more movie roles to which the magazine pointed out that he should have more free time now that he's not in the show. He answers, "The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime—" Suddenly, the interviewer interrupted and asked how many seasons more is he signed on for, in which Harrington was quick to know he might have slipped as he says, "Nice try (laughs). I can't talk about that. Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects (laughs)."
Although there is no confirmation if Jon Snow will be alive again, the accidental hints and the images of Harrington near the production may be pointing to the possibility of seeing more of Jon Snow in future episodes of Game of Thrones.
