It was reported that the first episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 was recently premiered at Hollywood's Chinese Theater and fans are hoping to hear some teasers for what to expect when the series airs on HBO in a couple of weeks.

It was said that the audience at the premiere was warned about revealing any details about the first episode of the season. However, The Week UK was able to share some hints about what to expect. It was said that the season will start with a sad moment, connected to the final scene of season 5.

The audience was greeted by Jon Snow laying in a pool of his own blood after being stabbed by his fellow watchers of the night. But with that said, there were no reports indicating his fate. Fans are still left to wonder if Jon Snow will be alive for the upcoming season.

There are many mixed opinions regarding his fate, since even Kit Harington himself explained that his character is in fact dead. He also joked about the matter, during an interview with Jonathan Ross.

He said, "I won't tell you how many episodes I'm lying dead, but it's enough that I was out there for quite a while. It's some of my best work. It's going to be so relieving when people actually see the show and realize that I don't come back."

In addition, fans can expect that the premiere will have a lot of violence and brutality. Fans will get to see several armies heading for a fight. However, there has yet to be any details stating what battle is in store for the return.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 airs on HBO this April 24.
