'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Rumors: Major Clue Revealed About One Character's Fate

Death is a frequent occurrence in "Game of Thrones." Chances are characters that fans see in one season will be goners by the next. However, season 7 may be gracious to one particular character.

As the stakes get higher and the bloodshed worsening, fans are going into "Game of Thrones" season 7 with the mindset that they will watch a character or four breathe their last.

One character, however, will make it all the way to the end of the season. This piece of information was revealed by "Game of Thrones" cast member Sophie Turner at the 2017 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

Spoiler Alert! The following contains potential spoilers for "Game of Thrones" season 7. Read at your own discretion.

This character is none other than Turner's Sansa Stark. The clue comes after she ever so casually talked at the red carpet about her filming schedule.

"We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we've just finished shooting season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to season 8," she explained.

On the surface, it might not mean anything other than Turner looking into the projects that will make her busy in the next months. However, her casual mention of season 8 has many believing she will be part of it.

Even though "Game of Thrones" season 7 is far from airing, there is already preparation for season 8, which will mark the show's conclusion.

Turner's remarks have many thinking that she has already been approached to return for the final season, which means that Sansa Stark might come out of "Game of Thrones" season 7 alive.

Bustle points out that with her hectic schedule, it would be unlikely for the actress to reserve time for something that she does not deem necessary.

This suggests that not only she will be in "Game of Thrones" season 8, her character will play a fundamental role too or at least one that would urge the star to actually set aside time for filming for it.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 has no premiere date yet, but it is expected to arrive around mid-2017.
