'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Plot Rumors: Will See Major Characters Finally Cross Paths

"Game of Thrones" season 7 may be shorter than previous seasons of the award-winning HBO adaptation, but the level of action and storytelling will be the same.

Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm in the series, revealed in an interview with IGN that filming all seven episodes of "Game of Thrones" season 7 took as long as filming 10 episodes for previous seasons.

The actor said that this season was tougher than the previous years, adding that he is "surprised that they're even able to fit in what they're even fitting in."

In a separate interview with Mashable, Anderson gushed that "Game of Thrones" season 7 is not just a normal season because it actually "feels bigger" despite the fact that it was shortened.

With only seven episodes for the show's run this year instead of the usual 10, more content, story and action are expected to be squeezed in one episode. That being said, fans can be treated to fast-paced storytelling.

Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth in the HBO juggernaut, said in the same IGN interview that "Game of Thrones" season 7 will be a culmination of sorts. He said that with the White Walkers entering the picture, the show is just about to go bigger from there.

"So when we've had all these, for all these seasons, disparate stories come from disparate ends of Westeros, it has been — and it's been signaled from the end of last season — that there's a lot of people and situations going to be coming together," the actor said.

"It was kind of interesting to meet some people who I normally only meet on a red carpet. Who that is and when that happens remains to be seen," he went on to say.

Alfie Allen, who is known in Westeros as Theon Greyjoy, teased in the same Mashable interview that "Game of Thrones" season 7 will take things even further. Loyalties may shift and new alliances might form, all of which bound to "blow a lot of people's minds."

"Game of Thrones" season 7 has no release date yet, but it is expected to arrive by June.
