'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Teaser at Comic-Con 2016: Gag Reel of Peter Dinklage, Sneak Peak of Next Season and Schedule

'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Blooper Reel Released at Comic-Con 2016

"Game of Thrones" cast and crew traditionally meet their fans at Comic-Con and it has also been customary for the HBO series to treat their followers with a few teasers for their next episodes. This is exactly what happened at Comic-Con 2016 at San Diego.

The audience was treated with a short blooper reel which introduced Season 7 of "Game of Thrones." There are yet no episodes that have been shot for next season and so these bloopers are from the previous season which centers on Peter Dinklage's inability to say "benevolent enslavers." Completely amused were Nathalie Emmanuel and Jacob Anderson who were seen and heard laughing along the sidelines.

Fans thought that this was quite adorable for the "Game of Thrones" character who never actually smiles or let alone make mistakes. The blooper was worth watching and rewatching which is surely what fans and followers would do since it's a long way to go for Season 7 of the award-winning series.

Forgotten lines, uneasy steps and more swearing

Aside from Dinklage's babbling, Emilia Clarke swears as she tries, and fails, to speak her Dothraki lines. A naked Jon Snow suddenly comes back from the dead as a cloth was removed to completely expose his body. This reel may be short but it shows that even the most dramatic and serious television series have their ups and downs.

Season 7 schedules

Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" just wrapped up in June which makes it a very long wait for next season to come. It has been rescheduled from its previous spring debut to summer of 2017. No specific dates were announced yet. It was also revealed that instead of the usual 10 episode season, the latest season would be cut down to 6. Will this be the final season of all considering it was shortened to just 6 episodes. Fans can only wait for announcements from Game of Throne producers and writers.

More teasers to come?

Fans are expecting more videos and blooper reels to come. It is not yet clear if these are the only ones that HBO is set to release as a teaser to fans. It is also unclear if these bloopers will also be part of the season's DVD/Blu-ray version.

Cast who were at the Comic-Con 2016 panel were David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Sophie Turner, Iwan Rheon and Kristian Nairn.
