'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Spoilers: Leaked Set Photos Suggest Winterfell Preparing for a White Walker Invasion
Winter has definitely arrived in Winterfell on "Game of Thrones." New leaked set photos revealed that the Northern site will likely see harsher conditions, including a deadly White Walker invasion in the show's eighth and final season.
Construction of the set located in Moneyglass in Northern Ireland are in full swing, according to the Watchers on the Wall. Rebuilding the set usually takes place before the start of production every season but the leaked photos suggest that there's an extensive remodeling and reinforcement of the Winterfell towers, the home of the Stark siblings and the hero Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
Viewers saw that the wall of ice further up north has come down at the end of last season. Speculations are that most of "Game of Thrones" season 8 will take place in Winterfell and the Northerners must be prepared for a looming White Walker invasion.

This jives with an earlier photo leak that shows a bigger Dothraki homestead is also being prepared on the set. The Northerners can't face the White Walkers without stronger warriors, so will Daenery's (Emilia Clarke) brute army be camped outside Winterfell and under this stronghold?
Meanwhile, Clarke is also preparing for her scenes in "Game of Thrones" season 8 in a major way. She posted a new photo of herself to reveal that her naturally brunette hair is now platinum.
Clarke wore a wig as Daenerys in the last seven seasons. Why she's choosing to fully commit to drastically changing her hair color now has left fans wondering what "Game of Thrones" could be up to.
In the books by George R.R. Martin, Daenerys actually had shorter hair, as one of her dragons accidently burnt her long locks while trying to save her. Daenerys might be known as the Unburnt, but her hair cannot apparently survive fire. Will a similar incident happen in the show? Is Clarke preparing for this scene?
"Game of Thrones" fans will have to wait for the answers as season 8 won't be expected to air on HBO until late 2018 or early 2019.
