'Game of Thrones' Star Kit Harington Won't Work With Future Wife Rose Leslie Again

"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington (Jon Snow) does not think it's a good idea for him to work with his future wife Rose Leslie (Ygritte) again. The couple first met on the set of the HBO series over five years ago.

The actor thinks being on the set with his fiancée won't make them become effective actors now that Harington and Leslie know each other so well. They won't be able to handle their jobs seriously.

The actor shared he and Leslie were watching a movie one time, where the lead actress dies and her leading man cries over her. Harington knew that if that were them they wouldn't be able to get over the scene well.

"I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face," Harington revealed. "I turned to Rose and I said, 'I wouldn't be able to do that with you, because you would piss yourself.'"

Harington believes that Leslie is a better at acting than him, though.

"I don't want to work with her because she would just show me up again," he said.

The 30-year-old star shot to fame on "Game of Thrones" and admitted that the series helped him grow his confidence. He mentioned that the attention the show gets from viewers globally excited him in the beginning.

Harington, however, is learning to deal with his fame better now knowing that "Game of Thrones" will be over soon. He knows it will be awhile until he becomes part of something so massive as the HBO series.

Since "Game of Thrones," the actor has done other projects that became mildly successful. The other show closest to his heart is "Gunpowder," which he executive produced and will air on HBO beginning Dec. 18. The miniseries tackles his ancestor Robert Catesby's rebellion in 1605.

Leslie, on the other hand, left "Game of Thrones" in 2014 after her character was killed off. She also joined "Downton Abbey" in a recurring role. Now, she's one of the lead stars in the legal drama "The Good Fight" on CBS All Access, which will return for season 2 in early 2018.
