'General Hospital' Spoilers, Plot News: Paul and Anna Go Head-to-Head

It was reported that the upcoming week of "General Hospital" will see Paul Hornsby and Anna Devane go head-to-head.

According to news, fans will see the rivalry between Paul Hornsby, played by Richard Burgi, and Anna Devane, played by Finola Hughes. The previous episodes saw Paul realizing that Anna was the one who killed Carlos Rivera, played by Jeffrey Vincent Parise. However, he still played it off like Carlos was alive.

Paul planned to use his newfound knowledge to frame Carlos for the killing of Sonny Corinthos, played by Maurice Benard. This will show that he and his partner, Ava Jerome, played by Maura West, are innocent.
However, not all went well with his plan, since Sloane's body is expected to turn up in the episodes to come.

This will then force Paul to accuse Anna of the murder, since she has a lot of motive for the crime. It was known that Anna and Sloane were previously involved. It will portray Anna experiencing a temporary span of insanity since she is still mourning the loss of Duke Lavery, played by Ian Buchanan.

His plan will not only wipe his hands clean but will also ensure that Anna no longer finds out about his doings.

But fans can expect that Anna will not be brought down that fast. Being a spy, she has experienced more complex situations and investigations that Paul's plans cannot amount to. In addition, Sam Morgan, played by Kelly Monaco, is also an ally to Anna and has good intentions.

With that, Sam can gather Jake Doe, played by Bill Miller, in order to help Anna while at court. Anna can also seek help from Jordan Ashford, played by Vinessa Antoine, who can influence the DA and mayor into realizing the true culprits.

The upcoming episodes will determine just how well Paul's plans can go against Anna's expertise.
