'General Hospital' spoilers, plot news: Will there be more character comebacks?

With all the secrets in "General Hospital," it's no surprise that every one of them will sooner or later come up. One of the biggest spoilers right now is the revelation of Jake Doe's (Billy Miller) true identity, which will come up more likely in the following weeks.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, it is rumored that Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) may be returning to the show some time in October, just in time for November sweeps. Although it's not confirmed when she will make her comeback, it is expected that she will do so during Jake and Elizabeth Webber's (Rebecca Herbst) wedding ceremony. During that time, she will tell Jake who he really is, which only Laura and a handful of people know that he is really Jason Morgan.

Furthermore, it is also said that Liz will also reveal things that will more likely end his relationship with Jake. Apparently, Elizabeth is not the person Jake thought he trusted since he awoke from his coma. Elizabeth apparently knows that Jake was Jason but instead kept it to herself, with no plans of ever telling Jake the truth. Elizabeth will finally face the consequences of her evil plans as everyone knows that redemption will be almost impossible for her at this point when it comes to Jason.

To support Laura's claims on her return, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is also said to come back bearing more evidence about Jason being alive. He is, after all, the only one who insisted that Jake and Jason are the same person. Even before this, Jake saving Sonny already gave fans a clue that the big reveal would be just around the corner.

Once all of this unfolds, it will be a ripple effect of events. Aside from Jason, Elizabeth, and Laura, one of the people that would be most affected is Sam, who is currently in a relationship with Patrick and has already been somewhat at peace with the idea of her dead husband.
