'General Hospital' Spoilers, Plot Recap: A Proposal
Last week on 'General Hospital', Nikolas and Hayden threaten each other, but later they end up kissing. Spencer interrupts them and asks who she is. Nikolas tells him that she's a work associate and that she's just leaving. Nikolas escorts Hayden out and tells her not to contact him again.
Later, Nikolas tells Spencer to get ready for the ball, but his son says that he doesn't feel like going this year because of everything that happened. Nikolas tells him that sooner or later he has to accept what happened to his face and the fact that Emma's gone.
At the Metro Court, Ric shows Molly the ring that he picked out to propose to Liz with, and Molly tells her dad not to do it. She says that Liz could still have feelings for Jake, but Ric tells her not to worry because he and Liz are right for each other.

Outside the ballroom, Jake runs into Liz. Jake says that he's heard that she's back with Ric, and Liz confirms this. Liz tells him that Hayden told her to stay away from him because they're back together. Jake denies this and tells her that he and Hayden haven't reconnected. Liz says that Hayden must be worried that there might still be something between the two of them, and Jake says that he wishes there was. They almost kiss, but then Hayden shows up and tells Jake that they need to talk.
