'General Hospital' Spoilers: Rebecca Herbst to Return, Nathan Proposes to Maxie

American daytime soap opera "General Hospital" is going to have Rebecca Herbst back soon. According to Enstars, Herbst, who plays as Liz Webber in the show, will be back in Port Charles by May. She was temporarily written off the show while her extended contract was getting fixed for negotiations because the show was determining whether her character will stick around. It turns out that Liz's story isn't over yet. In fact, she may be getting her new love triangle.

Celeb Dirty Laundry detailed that Liz may have two men trying to win her heart. They're no new faces though as it will be Ric Lansing and Nikolas Cassadine. Since Liz is fully aware now that she has no chance anymore to get back Jason Morgan, perhaps either of the two will be her new man. Soap Opera Digest revealed that Herbst will be back on May 4 which is just in time for the Nurses' Ball at the end of the month. It can be remembered last year that the previous Nurses' Ball was a crucial moment for Ric and Liz as the former proposed to the latter. However, it was interrupted by other events.

Speaking of proposal, Nathan proposed to Maxie on Friday's episode. Inquisitr noted that Nathan got down on one knee in the middle of the Metro Court asking Maxie to marry him. But the two have not been in good terms after Maxie found out the truth about Claudette. Soap Shows reported that Maxie did not say yes but they discuss it instead. And the truth is that the issue with Claudette urged Nathan to propose. But more of that will be revealed soon.
