George Clooney, Stacy Keibler Split? Actor 'Backing Away'
George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have reportedly split after two years together.
The Hollywood couple, who previously denied that they were having relationship woes, fueled split rumors after they were photographed spending America's Independence day separately. While Clooney was reportedly in Lake Como on July 4, Keibler was with friends in Malibu, which sources attributed to the alleged breakup.
"It's not like George and Stacy couldn't find time to get together if they really wanted to. George is quietly backing away from the relationship," a source reportedly told The Sunday People.

"It's always the same. As soon as he feels a woman is getting too close he pulls back," the source added.
Clooney, 51, first began dating Keibler, 33, in July 2011 however they have reportedly not been photographed together since March 2013, which raised questions about their relationship. In May it was claimed that the actor was spending time with his former love interest, Croatian model Monika Jakisic, however these reports were quickly denied.
Shortly before the rumors about Jakisic surfaced, actor Marl Wahlberg fueled speculation that Clooney and Keibler had split. Wahlberg, who is said to be a close friend of Clooney's, spoke candidly about the actor's love life.
"George has it good. He's single," Wahlberg allegedly told Germany's Focus magazine.
Sources quickly denied split rumors and attempted to shed light on Wahlberg's questionable comment.
"Mark meant that George doesn't have kids. George and Stacy are still together," a source later assured RadarOnline.com.
In October, Keibler, who is a former WWE pro-wrestler and model, revealed that she was not interested in marriage with Clooney at the time.
"That is not on my radar at all I'm definitely the girl who doesn't talk about that kind of stuff," Keibler told E! News.
"I'm not really interested in thinking about marriage or kids at all. [I] live in the moment," she explained, adding, "I'm more of a guy that way."
One month later Clooney's sister Adelia Zeidler, 52, revealed her brother will likely never walk down the aisle.
"George will probably not get married he decided that he could have the career or he could have a family," Zeidler told Us magazine. "He set goals for himself and has worked hard to achieve those goals. He's very happy with his life."
