'Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Latest News: Trailer for PC Version Teases Visuals, Graphics Features
With the highly anticipated launch of the video game "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" this week, Ubisoft has recently released a PC trailer for the upcoming game, showcasing its different graphics features and overall look in an unlocked frame rate.
According to GameRant, the footage released by the game publisher and developer was captured on a GeForce GTX card. Fans can adjust the video's settings in order to watch the trailer at 60 fps and with a resolution of up to 4K.
Based on the trailer launched by Ubisoft for the game's PC version, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will come with a wide variety of different technical features that will improve the game's overall visuals. Among these features includes HBAO+, which helps in making shadows look more realistic. "Wildlands" is also equipped with volumetric lighting and "turf tech," giving the grass in the video game a semblance of authenticity, especially when it responds to the movement of the wind.
Aside from the added technical features to improve the game's visuals, Ubisoft has also confirmed that "Wildlands" also uses Ansel – Nvidia's capturing tool – which allows gamers to record and share their gameplay.
The PC version of "Wildlands" also supports ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratios, multiple monitors as well as resolution scaling between 50 percent and 200 percent. Aside from the fact that the PC version has an uncapped frame rate, the game also features several video options and presets, including a benchmark tool, VRAM gauge, and the ability to preview graphics settings changes before fully implementing them.
Ubisoft has also previously revealed the minimum and recommended PC specs for "Ghost Recon: Wildlands." To play the game at 720p and low presets, players must have a PC with these minimum requirements: a Core i5-2400S (2.5 GHz) or FX-4320 (4 GHz), 6 GB of RAM, and a GTX 660 or HD 7870.
To play the game at 1080p and high presets, a gamer's PC must possess the following recommended specs: i7-3770 or FX-8350, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 970 or R9 290X. Those with even better PC setups will get to play "Wildlands" at even higher resolutions.
"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is scheduled to launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Tuesday, March 7.
