'Girls' Season 6 Episode 4 Spoilers: Hannah Interviews Famous Female Writer, Deals With Medical Issue

The upcoming episode of "Girls" season 6 will see Hannah (Lena Dunham) interviewing Ode Montgomery (Tracey Ullman), a famous writer. However, she will also be faced with a health issue.

The synopsis for the next episode, titled "Painful Evacuation," states that Hannah's interview with Ode will be particularly enlightening as the latter offers advice about being a female writer. Marnie (Allison Williams), on the other hand, deals with her narcissism.

Meanwhile, Adam (Adam Driver) abruptly leaves his latest acting gig, which leads Jessa (Jemima Kirke) to propose doing a creative project together. Finally, Ray (Alex Karpovsky) reflects on his life path after he discovers that a regular customer has suddenly passed away.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It starts out with Hannah sitting down for her interview with Ode, who tells her that it is difficult being both a writer and a woman—news that does not seem to sit well with Hannah. The next scene sees Adam angrily walking out of the set of his acting job. It immediately becomes clear, though, that he regrets the decision as he vents to Jessa. She, however, has a different suggestion. "You need to make your own movie," she tells him.

The 30-second clip also sees Marnie being talked to about her narcissism. She is told that Desi's (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) road to recovery is being hampered by her self-absorption. However, Marnie does not agree with the judgment. The video ends with Hannah telling her mother that she has found blood in her pee. She is advised to go to the hospital, where she is clearly unhappy about what is happening.

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, which focuses entirely on Hannah's meeting with a renowned author, Chuck Palmer (Matthew Rhys), whom she once admired.

After having found out about the sexual abuse allegations directed at Chuck, Hannah wrote an article about it. As a result, Chuck invited her to his house to talk about the piece. He tried reasoning with her and appealing to her empathic side, which worked. But it ultimately did prove to Hannah that the accusations were not baseless at all after he attempted to take advantage of her.

"Girls" season 6 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
