Glenn Beck Flips SUV While Outside Car: 'It Was Like an Action Movie'

Glenn Beck flipped his rental SUV over the weekend while attending his daughter's wedding.

Glenn Beck spent his weekend at the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. He is a radio host for a nationally syndicated show, and has also authored six New York Times bestselling novels. But that doesn't mean that Beck is exempt from making silly mistakes.

Being smart drivers, not asking for directions, and knowing how to park are three things men pride themselves on. But Glen Beck appeared to forget one of those things over the weekend when he parked his car too close to a hill. As a result, his car rolled straight down and flipped before making an ungraceful landing. To make things worse, it wasn't even actually his car.

"So my rental car got totaled this weekend ... at my daughter's wedding," Beck stated on Twitter.

Beck better explained the situation Tuesday during his talk show. He said that he had just hopped out of the car and was mid-hug with his daughter when he noticed that his wife was still holding on to the car door handle.

"I see my wife dressed in her evening gown from the wedding, and she's holding on to the door handle of the car as the car is starting to slide down the hill, and I just said 'Let it go honey,'" Beck said on his show.

But Beck soon realized why his wife was unwilling to let go of the car.

"I watched my car roll down the hill, literally roll," he said. "It was like an action movie."

Beck wasn't too concerned however as said that it was just "one of those days."

Beck considered one of his security detail a "hero" after he went after the car, believing that Beck's son was still in it. The car was empty, however, and no one was hurt.
