The defending champions are clearly on top as they have a very impressive record to lead the West and the entire NBA.
As for the Clippers, they are fourth in the West and are behind the Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
However, they seem locked for a place in the playoffs later on in the season and are hoping that they can finish the season strong to get some momentum heading into the post season.
The Clippers have struggled recently, though, as they have lost their last two games and have dropped four of their last five. Their lone win is a 122-106 win over the Houston Rockets but have dropped matchups against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans.
A big win over the Warriors can help them boost their chances in the later stages of the season.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have won eight of their last nine games. Their lone loss in that streak is a 87-79 loss to the Spurs but they bounced back with a gritty win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
They are still the favourites to win the NBA Championship as they are the defending champions and are looking strong in the tail end of the season.
The Clippers are looking to win their first battle over the Warriors this year as they have dropped their last three meetings.
