Google Nexus 2017 Could Be the Tablet's Return to Fame
In order to keep consumers and tech junkies invested in a device, the company behind them needs to provide updates to their models and keep things current. This may be Google's thinking if the speculations are correct that the anticipated Google Nexus 2017 is coming very soon.
According to a recently leaked information, the code name "Taimen" may actually be referring to Google's newest Nexus tablet. If true, then this may provide hints of the possibility of a reveal in the near future, much to the delight of fans of the brand.
As far as its speed and efficiency is concerned, it is believed that the Google Nexus 2017 could be sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is pretty much the trend, considering it is the fastest processor to this date. Aside from the central processing unit (CPU), there are several reports saying that it may hold a 6 to 8 GB random-access memory (RAM), and whether it is expandable or not is still in question.

Perhaps another interesting point of discussion is the operating system (OS) that it will be running on. There are those who think that it may be running on the rumored Andromeda OS, a secret OS being developed in order to combine Chrome and Android OS, which means it will have similar capabilities with Windows 10. If so, that can be considered revolutionary as it will be the first outside laptops and PCs.
From the looks of it, the rumored Google Nexus 2017 is going to be one powerhouse. As a matter of fact, Gig Jets thinks that it may be following and replacing Pixel C all-in-all, which goes to show the pressure and confidence placed on the unreleased gadget.
There are no confirmed reports yet on its release, so fans will have to wait and see if the speculations prior its dawning is true. If anything, it has piqued everyone's interests, which is half the battle won.
