'Gotham' News, Update: Season 2 Promo Posters Unveiled, Teases the 'Rise of the Villains'
Fans of the hit action-drama TV series from Fox, "Gotham," can't wait for its return to the small screen. The show, which ended up with intriguing developments and newfound mysteries, is bound to have even more exciting elements when season 2 premieres.
To amp up the excitement, Fox released a series of promotional images featuring the main characters as well as the new players in town.
The first photo showed Det. Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) flanked by the recognizable "good" Gothamites on his right and the baddies to his left. They were cropped in such a way that they form the iconic Batman symbol.
The second poster, which bears the subtitled "Rise of The Villains," shows Gordon and the rest of the characters.
Additional promo images meanwhile gave a proper look at the new character Tabitha Galavan, who is also known as Tigress (played by Jessica Lucas), wielding her recognizable whip.
There's also a photo of her equally infamous brother, Theo Galavan, (James Frain), looking on ominously.
For those who missed it, below is the official synopsis released by the network for "Gotham Season 2: Rise of Villains."
