'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 19 Spoilers: Theo Galavan Rises From The Dead

Things are about to get even more intriguing as the second season of Fox's hit crime fighting drama TV series "Gotham" continues next week with a brand new episode that will introduce the titular city's newest villain, Azrael.

Episode 19, which is aptly titled with the same name, will see yet another popular DC comics character, Azrael. The character is one of the members of an assassin group created by the Sacred Order of Saint Dumas with the mission to "enforce God's Will."

Spoiler alert for those who missed "Pinewood," it was found out that Hugo Strange and Miss Peabody has been working on a certain Patient 44 to experiment on the resurrection powers of Victor Fries' cryogenic formulas. Towards the end of the episode, it was revealed that the person in question was actually Theo Galavan. The latter has been confirmed dead but the formula did work on him. It was even shown that Galavan has become even stronger and even more violent that his original nature.

The promo video teased that the entire forces of Gotham City Police Department will be in trouble when a masked and caped individual appeared to declare that he's after the life of Jim Gordon. It can be surmised that this newcomer is none other than the resurrected and more powerful version of Theo Galavan. How will Jim and the rest of GCPD fair against such enemy?

The event, meanwhile, will be interconnected with yet another issue of the hour. According to The Futon Critic's synopsis, Bruce, Gordon, and Alfred will continue in their investigation with Project Chimera – a program created by the Waynes and is being used for evil purposes by Professor Strange. The above mentioned promo showed Jim and the psychiatrist in a tensed faceoff. Will Jim be able to squeeze information from the mad doctor?
