'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 6 Spoilers: Selina Kyle Faces Off With Detective Gordon In New Teaser Video
The level of suspense and thrill just keeps building up as the second season of Fox's hit crime drama TV series "Gotham" continues this week with an episode that will see Selina Kyle going toe-to-toe with her former ally and friend, Det. James Gordon. Meanwhile, the titular city is being set ablaze by a girl flamethrower.
The new promo video for the episode titled "By Fire" (check below) reintroduces Bridget, an abused sibling of the Pike family, as the "Firefly" who carries around a flamethrower on her back.
She is shown wreaking havoc on the people of Gotham but her intentions behind such actions is still unknown. What's interesting is that she has been joined by a familiar face, Selina Kyle. Detective Gordon, in the video, appears to have been shocked to find Bruce's friend in one of the footages that was taken of the crime.
"You're running with a bad partner. You're going to get yourself killed!" Gordon told Selina.
"I should never have trusted a cop," Selina answered back with teary eyes.
A tensed standoff between Selina and Jim Gordon can be seen towards the end of the video. Did Selina totally lose her trust in the system, in Gordon, as well as with Bruce? Will these events push her to become the anti-hero fans of the DC comics know her to be?
Meanwhile, several scenes can also be picked up in the promo material which could give hints as to what to expect in the upcoming episode.
"This is war!" a voice-over can be heard as Penguin and Butch are seen getting themselves ready for what is assumed to be a war against the Galavans. Fans may remember the wrath Cobblepot has felt towards Theo who kidnapped his mother and made him do all the dirty works. Could the battle to take control of Gotham City's underworld result to either of them losing lives?
Find out when "Gotham" Season 2 airs this Monday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. on Fox.
