"Today, you get to kill Jim Gordon," the charismatic new mayor of the titular city told Barbara in the promo video for the upcoming episode.

Her plan to do so is pretty straightforward. As hinted in the video, Barbara will voluntarily allow herself to be questioned by none other than Gordon. Apparently, her coming to the precinct sends a wave of confusion to the officers in the department.

Moreover, the meeting between the two ex-lovers won't sit will with Dr. Leslie Thompkins.

"She still has a hold on you," the medical examiner told Jim who replied that he's just doing his job.

But it seems that her fears will be validated as the clip shows Jim leaning towards Barbara as if he is about to give her a kiss. This happened while the present flame watches through the one-way mirror.

Scenes in the footage escalate finding Jim being held prisoner inside a church with Barbara wearing a wedding gown. The latter then provoked the law enforcer to fire the gun that is aimed at her.

In other developments, Theo will push further his plans to consolidate himself into the Wayne Enterprises. He will do so by striking a deal with the young Wayne. Nygma, on his part, will have a "run-in" with a familiar face.

"Gotham" Season 2 "Tonight's The Night" airs this Monday, Nov. 9 on Fox.
