The Court of Owls is also a benefactor to the experiments of Hugo Strange (BD Wong) at Indian Hill. The parents of Bruce also had dealings with them which led to their deaths. In "Gotham" Season 3, Bruce will finally meet the secret society.
Bruce Wayne already knows about the Court of Owls' funding for the experiments at Indian Hill. He also is aware of them running the "Wayne Enterprises" at a background. Gotham Season 3 will have Bruce Wayne end the dealings with the society in more ways than one.
The trailer reveals of Bruce warning Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) to be careful with the Court of Owls. He further informs her that these people are very powerful and dangerous. In Gotham Season 3 he further tells Selina that he needs time to research about the secret society. He also lets her know that her friendship with him may put her in danger.
In a report, it has been stated that Bruce is eager to put his relationship with Selina to the next level. This may mean that his friendship with her has more to it than merely being friends. The connection between the two characters will grow stronger and they will make it better.
