'Gotham' Season 3 Updates: Bruce Wayne Faces More Responsibility; More Villains Coming In to Destroy the City
New characters are already revealed to enter "Gotham" and are expected to bring chaos to the city. The third season has a new trailer that hints of more responsibility for Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) to bring peace to the city.
Jim Gordon gives up
In the new promo trailer, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) gives up in getting busy with Gotham. He has mentioned to Harvey (Donal Logue) that this time, it is not his job anymore. In Gotham Season 3, Gordon is a bounty hunter who cleans up the mess in the city caused by the new villains wanting to provoke Batman.

Season 3 is titled "Mad City", which aptly describes the the city has gone mad because of all the villains coming in. Fish Mooney has made it a lair for the enemies to go on destroying the peace in the city. While Mooney builds an army like her, Bruce steps up to his role as the protector of Gotham City. It is time for the Caped Crusader to get into action for the sake of the city's peace.
Meanwhile, Penguin (Robin Taylor) gets back with more power than ever and wants to destroy the city. Other villains also come into the scene to add to the chaos that the city is already experiencing. The Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel) is back with his hypnotic abilities.
He comes to the city to look for Alice (Naian Gonzalez), his sister who has ran away from him. Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) is also going to add to the destruction with his riddles. A mature Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha) will also be getting into the action. With all of them, it is time for Bruce Wayne to save the city from whatever destruction they are planning.
Bruce Wayne Taking On His Responsibility
It seems that Bruce is going to be the Caped Crusader once "Gotham" Season 3 kicks off. There has got to be more that he needs to do. All these evil enemies lurking in the city to bring in chaos need to be stopped.
As a prequel to Batman, the show will eventually give a revelation on when Batman will come out. It is a possibility for the third season to do just that.
Jim Gordon has worked hard for the city's order and peace, this time he needs more help from somebody else. Bruce Wayne needs to get himself out and be mature enough to face these villains who plan to destroy the city.
More of Batman's coming out can be revealed once "Gotham" Season 3 returns. The show is set to air on September 19.
