'Grand Theft Auto 6' News: Different From Other Installments
Fans have been waiting to hear more about the upcoming installment of the "Grand Theft Auto" video games.
It was reported that the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be different from the previous installment of the video game series. The past installments boasted an open world type of gameplay, which might not be included in the upcoming title.
It was stated that the game will be very different from the previous titles due to the departure of Leslie Benzies from Rockstar, the developer of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. Benzies, who was the former president of "Grand Theft Auto" recently left Rockstar.
Benzies filed a case against the company, claiming that Rockstar withheld his shares from him. With the case still ongoing, Benzies also explained that the company will not be able to continue using his work from the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise.
With that, fans are expecting a new gameplay option for the upcoming title. It was said that the title could portray more driving stunts, compared to previous installment of the series. It was stated that there will be super cars available in the new game. This will allow players to use vehicles on mountain terrains and off-road purposes.
Aside from the gameplay, there are speculations that the new game will allow users to explore the whole Unites States. However, there are other rumors suggesting that the new installment could be titled "Grand Theft Auto: Sin City," which will allow users to go through Las Vegas.
While there has been reports stating that production for "Grand Theft Auto 6" has started, there has yet to be any confirmation concerning what the series will be about. However, players can expect the title in the upcoming Play Station 5 and new Xbox model. It was stated that the game could include a virtual reality support.
