"Encompassing Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and everything in between, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been upgraded for its mobile release. Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, plus enhanced character and car models make this the best-looking version of San Andreas yet," Rockstar's posting said.

Rockstar's current game, GTA 5, became the top selling video game for the second straight month, selling 1.1 million copies.

The game made $800 million on its first day and hit the $1 billion mark by day three. According to the NPD Group, those sales accounted for 15 percent of the games sold in October. GTA 5 sold 29 million copies globally in its launch month.

"The title received stellar reviews, shattered entertainment industry records, and has already sold-in nearly 29 million units to date," said Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick to Joystiq. "The extraordinary success of Grand Theft Auto V illustrates the positive momentum in our business and consumers' enduring appetite for the highest-quality interactive entertainment."

They also recently released the "Beach Bum" DLC as well as the 1.06 update to fix online bugs and add online features for GTA 5.

According to Inquisitr, the patch includes different hairstyles, clothing options, and an option of new tattoos as well as new missions. Another DLC from Rockstar Studios will allow the gamer to create their own online missions. The DLC's are available for free.

The 1.06 update will be fixing a host of problems and exploits, reported Polygon. Some of the fixes include: the deletion of personal vehicles when adding trackers and insurance, the camera stuck on aerial view when entering GTA Online, menu malfunctions, missions that were completed starting over by themselves and cloud based memory errors as well as other patches which can be viewed here.
