Grand Theft Auto V on PC Release Date Early 2015: What to Expect and Where to Buy
Grand Theft Auto V has announced that they are going to introduce the game's PC version early 2015.
They set the announcement in Steam. The game "will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience."
The PC version will still offer the first-person mode wherein the gamers can view the Los Santos and Blaine County "in an entirely new way."
They have also claimed that the PC version will be the "biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created and now packed with layers of new detail." It also boasts of advanced digital effects used for movie-making.
The new content will have other features like vehicle and character upgrades, Jobs for cash and purchase properties.
GTA V PC will also be able to get its GTA V console users to "transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of Playstation 4, Xbox One or PC."
In an interview with IGN, Rockstar games answered the fans' questions regarding the game.
One Luuk user asked: "I was wondering if I could also [transfer] my [GTA Online characters and progress] from Xbox 360 to PC? Because I had a lot of nice cars on my Xbox 360 but I want to play on my PC, not start over to get all my cars. Is that possible?" Another Tommy user also asked the same related question.
"Not to worry, you will be able to transfer your Online characters and progress from any of the four consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One) to the PC platform," Rockstar responded. "To be clear, if you transfer or have already transferred your progress from PS3 or Xbox 360 to either PS4 or Xbox One, then you will still be able to do another transfer again from PS4 or Xbox One to PC. We have updated the detailed transfer information article at Rockstar Support to account for this."
The PC version will be available on Jan. 27, 2015 for $59.99. Users can by it through Steam, Amazon, Gamestop and Rockstar.
