'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Spoilers: Alex and Jo's Relationship Will Have 'Some Tension'
Tonight's new episode of hit ABC drama Grey's Anatomy promises to be full of drama, with one of the characters being greeted by someone from their past-- and it's not the happiest of reunions. Read on for spoilers about the upcoming episode.
Alex's estranged father will show up in this episode. Justin Chambers, who plays Alex, discussed how this will affect his character.
"The last time he saw his father, he was abusing his mom, and Alex had beat the [expletive] out of him. So this revisit is going to be very interesting to see what happens," Chambers said to TV Guide.

The actor also discussed how Alex's father's return will affect Alex's budding romance with Jo.
"Alex has always been emotionally [backward], so whenever he starts to step out a little bit and feel secure, something happens and then he's pulled back in. I think [his father's arrival is] going to make them strong, because she comes from a similar background - not the best childhood. They're going to be able to lean on each other, and she's going to help him hopefully get through it."
And Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo on the show, agrees that there is some rough terrain in store for Alex and Jo.
"There's going to be some tension just because Jo's a little bit more outspoken. There's always that interesting relationship that happens with the women who are the friends in your life and then the girlfriend who comes in and tries to integrate into somebody's life. I think that will cause tension during this season," Luddington said to TV Guide.
