'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 Episode 7 Spoilers: Meredith, Penny Tension Continues To Rise
The tension between Meredith and a new Grey Sloan resident will continue to rise, as what the latest spoiler report for an upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 slated to air next Thursday, Nov. 12, suggests.
The article from Latin Post gave hints of an impending clash between Meredith and Penny in the segment titled "Something Against You." For those who missed it, the latter was introduced to the group over at a dinner party that Mer and her sister held. Callie, who is dating Penny, was horrified to learn the doctor's connection to the death of Mer's husband, Derek.
The rest of the gang were furthermore shocked to hear the news that Penny is transferring to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

By all accounts, Penny really has nothing to do with Derek's death whatsoever. But the widow, who appears to be still in grief over the loss, still holds a grudge over the newcomer.
In fact, the new promo video for the episode (shared by the media outlet) showed just how uncomfortable Meredith is with Penny being around.
"I just want to say that I don't want the day to be awkward," Penny told Meredith in the teaser. The latter quickly snapped back with a tense statement: "Well, then don't make it awkward!"
It seems that Meredith's wrath is too much to handle for the new doctor. Further scenes revealed Meredith scolding Penny for not handling her job well. And if looks could kill, she even gave Penny the death stare. Meredith went on to make the workplace very difficult for them to move around in when she was heard yelling at Penny to "get out!"
In another story development, the synopsis posted at Carter Matt spoke about Bailey wanting Ben to kick out their new roommate while Arizona returns to the dating world armed with a new wingman.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 airs every Tuesdays, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
