Grimm News: Season Five, Final Season; Six is Cancelled?
The upcoming episode of "Grimm" season five entitled "Skin Deep," the 15th for this season, will be aired on April 1 at NBC. However, no definite news on the next season was forthcoming from the network. But rumors abound that season six of the show has been cancelled after ratings were found wanting.
A report showed that the police procedural drama has recently received a rating of only 0.9, averaging 4.2 million viewers. This would imply that the show has slipped down the viewers' level of interest.
Meantime, episode 15 will still be rolling out soon and its storyline has come out online. Wesen involvement has been suspected in a curious case of a young woman who was found to have aged quite quickly and then died. Nick Burkhardt (David Guintoli) and Hank Griffin (Russel Hornsby) investigate the matter thoroughly until they find the trail taking them to the doorstep of the local physician. The two ask for assistance from Rosalee Calvert (Bree Turner) to find out more at a confrontation with the doctor.
On another tack, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) is daring in her approach to unveil Captain Sean Renard's wicked dealings.
In this episode, Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee) also experiences a resurging of her abilities and decides to tell Nick about it as well as her secret sessions with Renard regarding Diana.
Previously on "Grimm," Burkhardt and Griffin were of a mind that the Wesen disease may have a connection with the Werewolf myth of modern times. In an effort to find out more, the two also studied the case of the attack in the woods. In this episode, the 14th, Adalind also risks a dangerous alliance with Renard to get back something she wanted the most, while Eve will get the shock of her life with a shocking revelation.
"Grimm," the series, was created by Stephen Carpenter, Jim Kouf, and David Greenwalt.
