'Grimm' Season 5 Episode 2 Spoilers: Adalind's Baby Gives Nick Another Purpose In Life
After all the tragic events that happened to Nick Burkhardt, including the death of his mother as well as that of the love of his life, it would seem that there's no hope left for the Portland Police detective. However, something will come up that will reignite the fire inside of Nick as the fifth season of the hit supernatural drama TV series from NBC, "Grimm," continues this week.
According to the spoiler report from the International Business Times for the episode titled "Clear and Wesen Danger," Nick will feel the need to set aside the grief and focus on the pressing issues which greatly concern his newborn baby and the mother.
For those who missed it, Adalind gave birth to a baby boy in the season's premiere episode and they called him "Kelly," the same as Nick's deceased mother.
The synopsis, shared by the media outlet for the upcoming episode, particularly said that the new father will have to make "some major changes" in order for him to ensure the safety of his son and Adalind, especially with the Wesen uprising going on. The protagonist, however, doesn't have to carry the whole burden himself as the summary also notes that Monroe and Rosalee would be more than willing to share the task.
The intense promo video shared by IBT hinted of big trouble coming to Portland.
"We need to be prepared," the Grimm said in the teaser.
"In general, mayhem all over the city," a police officer meanwhile reports on the status of the city as bloody scenes followed soon after.
Furthermore, the clip talks of a horrible thing coming towards them and "not even a Grimm can stop it."
The synopsis also made mention of Capt. Renard's move to assign Hank a new partner. The new buddies will be sent out to investigate a brutal murder that took place inside the circle of an investment group.
"Grimm" Season 5 Episode 2 airs this Friday, Nov. 6, on NBC.
