'Grimm' Season 5 Episode 6 Spoilers: Jacqueline Toboni On What Lies In Store For Trubel
Star of the series "Grimm," Jacqueline Toboni, shared some details about what her character Trubel will be up to for the rest of the season.
According to Carter Matt, the previous episode of "Grimm" saw Nick, played by David Giuntoli, and the others dealing with a rodent problem in Portland. It was revealed that the Rat King had made its way to the city.
However, that was not the only challenge presented in the episode titled "Rat King." With Jacqueline Toboni playing Trubel, the episode showed her dealing with her own troubles. Nick brought Trubel to the hospital after finding her with many injuries.
According to Niagara Frontier Publications, the actress shared some details about how her character has paralleled her life during a phone interview. She said, "I think the writers did a great job of kind of mirroring my life, at least a little bit, with Trubel's. I think, in (seasons) three and four, she's a deer in the headlights. She's a little bit behind the eight ball and everything's new. Her moral obligations are very simple. And, as she grows, she gets more responsibilities and a little bit more comfortable — and is able to think on her own and face, maybe, more complex problems. I definitely relate to that, in many ways, as I've been with the show for a little bit longer now. I'm a little bit more comfortable, I'd say."
With that, she is expected to go through more obstacles throughout the season as her character further develops. The upcoming midseason finale of the series will have her talking to Nick and Adalind, played by Claire Coffee, about what happened to her while she was missing.
Titled "Wesen Nacht," episode 6 of "Grimm" season 5 is expected to air this Dec. 11.
