'Grimm' Season 6 Episode 7: Diana Uses Powers to Defend Renard

Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) will not stand aside when she sees her father being attacked in the upcoming episode of "Grimm."

In the episode titled "Blind Love," the synopsis reveals that a former ally of Renard (Sasha Roiz) is planning to get revenge. The surprise attack will happen the night the Portland mayor is babysitting for his daughter.

Diana is spending the weekend at the mansion following the arrangements that her parents agreed upon previously. Adalind (Claire Coffee) is off to a special getaway with the rest of the Scooby Gang. Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) just got the news that they are expecting triplets. It is also Monroe's birthday so they want to celebrate.

Although Renard has many flaws, Diana still remains loyal to him. He is similarly smitten with the little kid, not wanting to fully give custody to Adalind.

In a January interview with TVLine, Roiz said that his character's paternal instincts surface whenever Diana is around. Renard acknowledges the fact that she has to be protected at all cost. Because of her powers, many dangerous creatures are targeting her. Being Renard, he also has no trouble taking advantage of the situation. He feels confident whenever she is around. Diana can pulverize his enemies with a single flick of the hand.

"We'll say he's still Renard, so he sees the potential of 'Maybe I lost all this, but I've got this little lady who is quite a powder keg, so possibly I can use that to my advantage.' And he certainly does manipulate that a little bit. He's still Renard, come on!" Roiz says in the TVLine interview.

Meanwhile, the Scooby Gang's trip will hit a snag. At the hotel they are staying in, an employee will mysteriously target Nick (David Giuntoli). It looks like the Grimm was responsible for the death of his father and he wants to get revenge. Nick and the others cannot seem to get away from trouble even when they are on vacation.

"Grimm" season 6 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
