'GTA 5 Online': New Content, Items Expected; 'GTA 6' to Release in 2020?

"Grand Theft Auto 5 Online" players will be happy to know that a new downloadable content pack is coming out. This much was revealed by Rockstar Games after they announced their plan to make "Red Dead Redemption 2" with 4K support.

The new DLC, dubbed the Gun-Runner DLC, is apparently in development at this moment, which means a release date has yet to be set or announced. However, it has been said that it will be made available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Thankfully, Rockstar Games has been keeping fans satisfied with continuous content being released. "GTA 5 Online" is expected to get some new vehicles, items and an Adversary Mode soon. The first vehicle has already been dropped in the form of the Grotti Turismo Classic. It is currently available for purchase for $705,000 in-game from Legendary Motorsport.

Described as a "throwback to a simpler time," the new vehicle is certainly something to be excited about. "If you're sick of space-age hypercars with dashboards smarter than you, you'll feel right at home in this stripped-back addition to the Sports Classic class," the description reads (via Express).

An Adversary Mode has yet to be unveiled, though, so fans are waiting on the edge of their seats for the upcoming update.

As for "Grand Theft Auto 6," it is likely that the sequel will not be released until 2020 or 2021. Some believe that Rockstar Games is waiting for the release of new consoles before releasing the sixth installment in the franchise. However, that has not stopped rumors from circulating about what to expect from the next game.

Previously, an Easter egg was spotted by an avid fan that seemed to indicate that Rockstar had plans to release "GTA 6" in 2021. However, since nothing can be officially confirmed at this point, readers are advised to take this news with a grain of salt.

Stay tuned for the latest news and updates.
