'GTA 5' Valentine's Day Content Comes With Latest Update
"Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5" fans will find a romantic surprise waiting for them this Valentine's Day in the form of an event coinciding with the love month's theme.
During the Jan. 28 update, Rockstar secretly added Valentine's Day content to "Grand Theft Auto 5" in the form of the "Grand Theft Auto Online: Be My Valentine" event. Any player who has downloaded the latest 1.32 update can gain access to the romantic event, according to Australia Network.
The Jan. 28 patch for "GTA 5" includes a new vehicle called the Albany Roosevelt Valor in the Legendary Motorsport. The car is an upgraded Albany Roosevelt 2014 with a few added customizations, the report details.
The cars are not the only ones with the Valentine's Day theme. Players can also dress up for the romantic occasion using the new clothing items added for both male and female wardrobe shops. The new clothing items include suits, vests, dresses, bustiers, stockings, masks, and other related accessories, the report relays.
In addition, the "Valentine's Day Massacre," which was first featured in 2014, is making a comeback this year. Players can access the said content from all consoles and purchase the Gusenberg Sweeper from the Ammu-Nation, classic Albany Roosevelt from Legendary Motorsport, and Valentine's Day clothing, accessories, and hairstyles, the International Business Times UK reports.
Another secret is that Rockstar has not announced the "Till Death Do Us Part" adversary mode for couples. The developer launched the said mode on Feb. 12.
Meanwhile, Rockstar has discounted the price of "GTA 5" on the PlayStation Store. Fans can now buy the title with a 20 percent to 30 percent discount until Feb. 17 or while supplies last. Gamers can purchase the title from the Rockstar Warehouse, Amazon, Target, Sony PlayStation online store, Best Buy, Gamestop, Walmart, Toys "R" Us and other websites.
The "GTA 5" Valentine's Day content is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One only.
