'GTA Rockstar Editor' for PS4 and Xbox One, Go Karts and Ramps concept mods for 'GTA 5 Online'.
Details of the DLC for GTA 5 and GTA Online were recently announced by game creator and publisher, Rockstar Games. The announcement that the highly requested and anticipated Rockstar Editor would be coming for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles has put avid gamers of GTA and the YouTubers of the GTA community into a mood of excitement. New concept mods have been announced for GTA 5 Online.
The YouTubers have been mining the game for footprints to discover what the DLC might reveal - new vehicles, new locations and new characters.
The "GTA 5 Rockstar Editor" was released for PC in April 2015. The September updates will include some new features to improve players with their recording and editing capabilities:
1. An ambient audio and sound effects library has been added to help players add elements to their gameplay and make it more realistic.
2. Snapmatic integration enables the player to choose a still frame from a marker point and send it out to Snapmatic.
3. Director Mode updates can help you set the time of the day, show the enlarged minimap, highlight your pre-set locations and get in the air and water vehicles.
4. Editing helpers like copy and paste markers allow players to modify their audio settings. More fonts are included to help players customize their titles and credits
Along with the "GTA 5 Rockstar Editor" updates, exciting new gameplay content for "GTA 5 Online" Freemode, will also be revealed in the coming weeks.
GTA Forums have been discussing West Coast and gangster DLC for a couple of years. Some gamers think that more West Coast imagery should be included to make the GTA 5 city more realistic as it is said to be patterned after Los Angeles, California. This West Coast theme would also apply to clothing, such as bandanas and jeans, and weaponry.
The Go Kart and Ramp concept mods have also been revealed and YouTubers have remarked that it makes gameplay interesting and "refreshing." Some gamers have suggested that racing ramps could be created and the Go Karts could be used as racing cars in racing events. For green horn gamers just starting on GTA, the Go Karts can be used to practice on these tracks.
The updates will be released sometime in September but a specific date has not been announced.
