'GTA V' to Get iCEnhancer Graphics Support in New Mod (VIDEO)
"Grand Theft Auto V" will getting a popular graphic enhancer mod to improve the look and feel of the game.
Information has just been released "Grand Theft Auto V" will soon be getting iCEnhancer, a well-received modification that will change the game's graphics for the better.
After iCEnhander thoroughly cleaned the look of "GTA IV's" Liberty City, it is soon set to do the same for Los Santos, as well.
ICEnhancer creator, Hayssam Keilany announced on his Facebook account, he will be supporting "GTA V" with the same mod that enhanced "Grand Theft Auto IV" PC version with augmented graphics.
Keilany said the iCEnhancer would be removing noise that occurs during weapon changing and player transition, reduce the amount of fog, do away with blurry backgrounds, and change the color of the game's sun to a less brown, and more neutral-appearing shade. iCEnhancer will also be changing the water and each of the character's post effects.
According to the developer, the mod is still in the early days of processing for "GTA V," but already it has improved the game graphics and will be giving players control over what they want to change based on their gameplay tastes.
Keilany has posted photos of the new graphics with iCEnhancer mod on his Facebook page to show players the clear and vibrant differences the mod has effected in the game.
Rockstar has also issued a statement informing its fans it will not be banning players for preferring to use single-player mods, after speculations emerged the it was deliberately curbing mod use when a new PC patch 350.1 the game publisher released the previous week curtailed support for Script Hook V, a tool players use to run mods.
However, Rockstar denied this saying it was "an unintended side effect." It had no intention of banning players utilizing single player mods, but since tmods are largely unauthorized, they may be unintentionally broken, become unstable, or affect gameplay after regular technical updates take effect.
No news has yet been released when the graphics enhancing mod from iCEnhancer will be available to "GTA V" players.
