'Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator' Coming to North America, Features Combat Carnage & Cross-Platform Play
Aksys Games and Arc System Works is happy to announce to their fans that their follow-up game "Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator" is finally going to be released to the public soon. According to the official website of Aksys Games, the fighting game is heading over to consoles PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
Siliconera noted that it was initially announced by the studio in September that the sequel to "Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign" will be released to consoles in Japan following the game's arcade appearances. But now, it has been confirmed that "Revelator" will also be coming to North America, alongside the Japanese release which will be sometime in spring 2016.
There's a lot to expect in the game including a ripping 60 frames-per-second and a cross-platform battle between PS4 and PS3. All 17 characters from the previous game will be returning. All of these factors enhances the gamers' moment to "battle for glory in the post apocalypse." New fighters have also been added into the game and the list includes Jack-O, Johnny Sfondi, Jam Kuradoberi and Dizzy.
Aside from new characters in the roster, new modes have also been added, along with refined mechanics which offer several ways to battle rivals. Key features have been detailed as well saying that the game will have a Combo Carnage at the Push of a Button. It is in this feature that "Stylish Type levels the playing field" and this permits beginners and the advanced to release powerful combos with just one push of a button.
The game will also be in 2D style animation paired with next gen cell shading techniques. Intense clashes, polished graphics and gigantic amounts of content can also be expected, making duels better and more exciting.
"Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator" is the latest revision of the "Xrd" series.
