Hacker Allegedly Points Out 'Duck Hunt Duo' Amiibo in 'Super Smash Bros.'
A hacker allegedly showed that video game series "Super Smash Bros." already contained data of the characters from "Duck Hunt Duo."
The hacker allegedly discovered that the data for amiibo interaction is already within the game and all that was needed was the relevant toy that will activate it. This also meant that an NFC card or chip could possibly be hacked in order to trick the game into thinking the right toy is being scanned and produce the characters, such as the "Duck Hunt Duo," in the game.
Amiibos are toys of Nintendo characters that interact within different games in the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The toys contain the character's unique data and by scanning the toy, the player can use unlock the costumes, features, abilities and more that are embedded in the game.

The amiibos were first released for the "Super Smash Bros" for Wii U with other characters from previously --released games being patched through, such as "Hyrule Warriors," "Kart 8," "Kirby and the Rainbow Curse," and more.
The search for new amiibos is due to fans' excitement following last year's statement from Nintendo claiming that there was a chance they would release amiibo toys of the entire cast of "Super Smash Bros." from the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
The hacker, known as YouTuber Mema Haxx, uploaded a video of the new amiibo combo he or she allegedly managed to uncover from "Duck Hunt Duo." In the video, the hacker showed him or her being able to access the duck and dog combo and use it in the game.
Gamers and fans are being cautioned to take the news lightly, however, as there is a chance the video has been faked and Nintendo has yet to make any statements.
Also, Nintendo is planning to release more amiibos in the future, and may possibly reproduce some of the sold out figures, which gamers and fans can still look forward to.
