'Halo Wars 2' News: Atriox Action Figure Available for Best Buy Preorders; Two Funny Promo Videos Released
Players are literally counting only a few days before the much-awaited release of "Halo Wars 2." In order to create a big buzz, 343 Industries — in partnership with Microsoft Studios — has launched various promotional exploits ranging from usual antics to creative stunts.
For gaming aficionados and collectors, a preorder of the game in Best Buy will include a Limited Edition Merciless Variant Atriox Figure. This is a physical representation of "Halo Wars 2's" ruthless villain and will be a great addition to one's collections.
For those who are not familiar with the title, getting the antagonist's action figure might not hold much appeal, and instead would settle for the protagonist's model if there was. That may have been one of the things that the creators thought of, and so they released two unusually enticing videos that show Atriox's funny side.

In the first clip, General Atriox and Captain Cutter ride a plane and fight over who gets the armrest. They devise tactics on how to gain the upper hand over the other, in true "Halo Wars 2" style.
The feud further progresses to a second clip, where Atriox is trying to sell a car to Cutter. Cutter tries to haggle with the price to knock it down further, while the towering villain has his own plans in mind.
Both short videos are enough to make one snort with laughter as it is an unexpected promo. "Halo Wars 2" is known to have a gritty, serious concept in which a battle between humans and Atriox's mercenary force known as The Banished ensues, so this is out of the blue and rather clever.
It will only be a matter of time until players get to play the real-time strategy (RTS) title. "Halo Wars 2" dawns on the Xbox One on Feb. 21, 2017.
