'Hamilton' Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda Freestyles for President Obama during White House Visit
The White House had some fun rapping session on Monday during the visit of the "Hamilton" cast. According to a report by Billboard, the cast of Broadway's hit new musical performed some of the songs from the show for President Obama and a group of school children. But the highlight of the day was when "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda performed a freestyle rap with the help of POTUS.
Held at the Rose Garden, Miranda showed off his skills by rapping along to a live drum beat as President Obama shows him cue cards containing words that must be incorporated into the flow of the rap. The official Twitter account of The White House posted the video of the impromptu performance of Miranda. And to be updated, social media users followed along with the hashtag #Bam4Ham.
Before the rap started, the chief executive is seen on the video commanding the redcoat drummer to "drop the beat." That's when Miranda started freestyling with words that vary from POTUS to Obamacare to oval office to constitution and so on.

"Constitution, the POTUS, I'm freestylin'. You know this," the playwright sings.
Miranda was able to effortlessly weave in the words into the rap which impressed the President as he is seen saying, "How good is that? You think that's going viral? That's going viral!" Miranda also revealed that he had not seen the words prior to rapping.
As detailed in NBC News, the cast of "Hamilton" spent the whole day at the White House and apart from singing some select songs from the musical play, they also lead a student workshop in acting which first lady Michelle Obama hosted.
The Wrap revealed that the first lady personally liked the musical. She even describes "Hamilton" as "creative, hilarious and memorable." She also shared that she persuaded the whole family to see it including her daughters Sasha and Malia.
