Harrison Ford Is 'Looking Forward' to 'Indiana Jones 5'

Actor Harrison Ford commented on his return to the big screen as Dr. Henry Walton Jones, a.k.a. Indiana Jones, during a recent episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" He told Kimmel he was "excited" and "looking forward" to it.

"I'll be ready ... I'm excited about it," Ford said regarding his upcoming new "Indiana Jones" movie. "The opportunity to work with Steven [Spielberg] again on this character," he continued, "a chance to revisit this character, which has brought pleasure to so many, not to mention me—it's fun. It's great fun to play this character, it's great fun to work with Steven. I'm looking forward to it."

Ford was at the talk show to promote the DVD and Blu-ray release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," where he reprised his role as Han Solo. In this connection, Ford also told Kimmel that he finally got his Han Solo wish by "wearing them out." He has been asking to have the character killed for three decades now, going as far back as the shooting of "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back." Ford said during an Entertainment Weekly Q&A that the reason he wanted to have the character killed was to "lend gravitas and emotional weight." The actor kept his mouth shut and threw away the keys when he was asked if he or his character would somehow be back in any upcoming "Star Wars" sequel.
