Has Emma Stone Moved On From Andrew Garfield? Actress Has Started Dating Someone New

Emma Stone is now dating someone new. The actress is being linked to "Saturday Night Live" writer Dave McCary, something that the new couple is trying to live down since her recent appearance on the variety show.

The show just has this way of linking its staff with some of the top Hollywood stars, as Page Six notes. First, there was Ben Affleck, who's now dating Lindsay Shookus, producer of the show. Then, there's Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost, who's the anchor of "SNL Weekend Update" segment.

The "Battle of the Sexes" star has hosted the NBC show in December last year, and again earlier this month as a surprise guest. She also made a cameo for "SNL's" season premiere, hosted by Ryan Gosling, her co-star in "La La Land."

Stone later joined the staff of "SNL" in an afterparty at Tao.

McCary, a writer and segment director for the comedy show, has been with "SNL" since 2014.

The couple was earlier spotted at the movie premiere of "Brigsy Bear" in June, which McCary directed for yet another "SNL" regular, Kyle Mooney. It was McCary's directorial debut at the time.

Stone was previously dating "Amazing Spiderman" star Andrew Garfield for four years until they eventually parted ways in 2015. A source told People that it was an amicable split, all things considered.

"There was no drama, they've been apart while working. They still care about each other," the insider said earlier, at the time when the two has just broken up. "They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close," the source added.

It's this good relationship that may have given rise to rumors last August that the ex-couple are ready to give their relationship another chance. The two were reportedly spotted getting cozy during their time in London, according to E!
