'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5 News: Season Premiere Episode Title Revealed, Frankie Valli to Join Cast
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 5 is almost here, and more news and spoilers have started to trickle in as the premiere date approaches, starting with the season's first episode.
It has been reported that the show's first episode for season 5 is entitled "Nowhere to Hide." According to the show's official synopsis, "The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponized drones on civilians." From this description alone, it sure looks like another action-packed day is in store for the elite team of Five-0.
In a recent interview with TVLine, Peter M. Lenkov said that a lot of questions about McGarrett's connection to Wo Fat will be revealed in the show's 100th episode— episode 7 of season 5, to be exact.
"I'll tell you this: If there are any lingering questions for people who have been loyally watching the show from the beginning, they're all going to be answered in the 100th episode," said Lenkov. "There really will be no more questions as to, 'Are [Steve and Wo Fat] related?' and 'What is Wo Fat's relationship with Steve's mother?' …That's all going to come to a head and be resolved."
More guest stars will also be featured on the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, legendary Four Seasons front man Frankie Valli will guest star on an upcoming episode of the show. Valli will play the role of Leonard Campbell, the fiancé of McGarrett's aunt, Aunt Deb, played by Carol Burnett. The website reports that Campbell is an ex-shop teacher and has Stage 4 leukemia. He has come to Oahu so that he and Deb can get married, but McGarrett is suspicious of him as he feels that he is not being completely honest with his aunt.
