'Hawaii Five-0' Season 6 has a new love interest for McGarrett and moments of bromance.
Season 6 of "Hawaii Five-0" will have more of proposals, friendship, bromance and a focus on relationships this season. Love is certainly tackled when McGarrett proposes to Catherine. The moot question is will she say 'Yes'. Fans are certainly hopeful but wait – there is someone else entering McGarrett's life. Plus, he also has to contend with partner Danny's overprotectiveness
This season, Catherine comes back to attend Kono and Adam's wedding. Seeing what he's missing might prompt McGarrett to propose to Catherine. But there is a roadblock to this possible wedding.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Peter Lenkov reveals that McGarrett will go on a "wild adventure" with Lynn, played by Sarah Carter. Lenkov says,"Boiling him down, McGarrett is a warrior with a huge heart … From our first season, Catherine has stolen that heart and now he's ready to take that major leap in their relationship six years later. It's probably one of the bravest things this soldier has ever done. And yes, you may have heard that Sarah Carter is coming in as Lynn, a nature lover with whom McGarrett goes on a wild adventure. Let's just say that it's going to be a busy fall for our head of Five-0."

It is now confirmed that Sarah Carter will be joining the series as a regular and has been cast as the new love interest for Steve. She was last seen on TNT's Falling Skies, that did not go in for renewal.
Reportedly, Lynn and McGarrett will go on an "adventurous first date". Instead of romance, they come across a hideout frequented by criminals. Their lives are in danger as they try to escape. This incident will take forward the romance of McGarrett and Lynn and viewers will have to find out what happens with Catherine when the season airs.
Meanwhile, the fact that McGarrett is going to propose to Catherine sends Danny into protective mode. He is really tense that Catherine does not care for McGarrett as much as he does and so he tries to shield McGarrett from this unpleasant truth. This leads to moments between McGarrett and Danny that are full of friendship and protectiveness.
So yes, "Hawaii Five-0" will have a busy fall. It returns to CBS on Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
