'Hawaii Five-0′ season 6 spoilers: Steve and Chin to have new love interests
"Hawaii Five-0" season 5 featured Kono and Adam's wedding, and while they will begin their new life as a married couple in the next installment, Steve and Chin will reportedly have new love interests.
During the finale of Hawaii Five-0 season 5, Kono (Grace Park) married Adam (Ian Anthony Dale). For the upcoming season, it's Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) and Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) turn to experience a change in their romantic lives, according to Christian Today.
Sarah Carter's character Lynn will reportedly return to Hawaii Five-0 for the sixth season and fall in love with Steve. Her entry in Steve's life will cast a shadow of doubt on his relationship with Catherine (Michelle Borth). Lynn and Steve will go on an island adventure during their first date, but their lives will be at risk when they accidentally discover a criminal hideout, the Inquisitr reports.

In season 4, Catherine flew to Afghanistan to return a favor to a person who previously saved her life. While she was able to rescue that person, she decided to stay in Afghanistan to guard the village against the Taliban, the report details.
Despite Catherine's return during Kono's wedding, executive producer Peter Lenkov said her stay in the island is not guaranteed. Steve and Catherine still have a lot of issues between them and they never had a chance to address those issues in the season 5 finale.
Based on the synopsis for the season 6 premiere episode, the Five-0 team will work on a case involving an ancient buried treasure. Gabriel will also abduct and torture Kono and Adam after their wedding. Meanwhile, Danny will become concerned for Steve over Catherine's return. But she and Steve will try to figure out their relationship.
The upcoming season will also focus on Chin's new love interest, who will be played by Julie Benz. Jennifer is the head of a San Francisco detective unit, which is similar to Five-0. While on her assignment, she will get romantically involved with Chin Ho.
Hawaii Five-0 season 6 will premiere on Friday, Sept. 25 at 9:00 pm on CBS.
