'Hawaii Five-O' Season 6 Episode 8 Spoilers: Con Man's Latest Gig Goes Wrong; McGarrett's Sister To Return?

The sixth season of CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series "Hawaii Five-O" returns this week with a brand new episode that will see Hawaii's finest working alongside a con man in order to find a perpetrator who killed the con man's partner. Meanwhile, details on the show's up and coming episode reveal the return of one of the officer's relatives.

The synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Piko Pau 'iole," which translates to "The Artful Dodger," tells of a case wherein the Five-O need to work with Hank Weber, a charming con man, after his latest gig goes wrong. What Weber thought would just be another business deal for him ends up with his female partner getting killed.

Given the nature of the con man's work, the team has to double their efforts in figuring out what Weber has to say as the latter can't fully disclose everything lest he will be incriminated.

The summary also mentioned the arrival of Abby Dunn, a police inspector from the San Francisco Police Department. Her order of business finds her working with Chin as they tackle a case that involves the murder of five Chinese arms dealers.

Needless to say, the dashing police officer will capture the attention of the men on the O'ahu police force. Given this situation, she might be found hanging around the place for a longer while. Perhaps a possible romantic interest on one of the men will occur?

Speaking of newcomers, a report from Enstarz.com says that in Hawaii Five-O's 12th episode, a member of McGarrett's family will return to the scene. Titled "Ua ola loko I ke aloha," the up and coming episode will see Mary Ann McGarrett arriving in Oahu with the lieutenant commander's aunt, Debbie.

As for the reason behind the family reunion, the publication cited executive producer Peter Lenkov saying that this will serve as a "closure" for Mary Ann's story.

"Hawaii Five-O" Season 6 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
