'Hawaii Five-O' Season 7 Spoilers: Serial Killer Still on the Loose in the Island; Team Looks For International Terrorist Planning to Set Nuclear Meltdowns
The team gets help from a criminal profiler to help them catch the serial killer.
In the premiere of "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 last week, the team tackled the case of a vigilante serial killer who was murdering serial killers. It turns out that this particular story arc will be four episodes long.
The new big bad
EP Peter Lenkov shared that the killer behind the serial killer murders will successfully elude arrest in the first three episodes of "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7. Plus, some threads of the vigilante killer storyline will also be extended throughout the rest of the new season thus making the killer the Hawaii task force's latest big bad.

Lenkov said the killer is more cerebral and a bit more complex than anyone the series has dealt with before. Perhaps to distinguish his murders from the rest, the killer puts chess pieces inside his victims' mouths. Besides the murders, he has become a big threat to both the residents and tourists of Oahu.
Criminal profiler helps team
Teaming up with the task force will be Alicia Brown (Claire Forlani) to solve what is turning out to be the biggest case of "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7. Alicia will be a recurring role for Forlani and is described to be a retired criminal profiler.
Lenkov has revealed in an interview that Alicia will be making her debut in the second episode of "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 that will air on September 30. Because of her area of expertise, she will be asked by the task force members to help them track down serial killer.
Relationship with McGarrett
Lenkov revealed that Alicia will only be in a couple of episodes but doesn't discount the possibility of her being brought back in the future after the story arc ends in "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7's episode 4..
As to what Alicia's relationship with McGarrett will be, Lenkov said that their connection will be in the professional level but, there will be scenes in episode 4 when they become intimate while fighting for their lives. The experience may not necessarily lead to a new love interest for McGarrett in "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 but the two will certainly bond over it. With her experience as a psychologist, she may be able to understand him and get into his head like no other woman can.
European terrorist
Another new character, MI6 agent Harry Langford will also be debuting alongside Forlani in episode 2 titled "No ke ali'iwahine a me ka 'aina or "For Queen and Country". In this episode of "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7, the Hawaii task force needs to find a terrorist who plans to cause nuclear meltdowns all over Europe.
