The Voice of Freedom DLC is a Prologue for "Homefront: The Revolution"
Deep Silver has released the first downloadable content (DLC) for "Homefront: The Revolution" this week.
The DLC named "The Voice of Freedom" is currently available for PS4, PC and Xbox One players who have "Homefront: The Revolution" on their devices. "The Voice of Freedom" DLC includes a brand new storyline involving Benjamin Walker.
"Homefront: The Revolution" DLC Plot
"The Voice of Freedom" campaign centers on Benjamin Walker which was named as the most wanted by the KPA, Game Spot reported. The objective is to go through military occupied Philadelphia to gather more teams for the resistance rebellion group. The DLC is considered to be the prologue story before the events of the "Homefront: The Revolution" happened.

"Homefront: The Revolution" DLC PS4, Xbox One, PC Release Details
"Homefront: The Revolution" was first released in May of 2016 by Deep Silver. It is marketed as an open-world first person where the player must lead the Resistance guerilla movement in a fight for freedom in an alternate version of America that is ceased in a military occupation.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Homefront: The Revolution" will be getting three total single-player expansions. The first one, called "The Voice of Freedom", is currently available for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The DLC costs $6 USD for those who do not have the Expansion Pass, but the game including the pass can be purchased for $25. The download for the DLC is 6GB.
In the Resistance Mode, Deep Silver will be releasing new outfits, bacgrounds and Resistance Crate starting this Sept. 30, Friday. PC Gamer notes that some of the items that players can expect from the Expansion pass are a Gunshot mask, Cobweb mask, Black and White mask and an Urban Combat outfit.
Another single-player DLC expansion for "Homefront: The Revolution" will be released this year and it will be called "Aftermath", according to the game's website. The third and final DLC, called "Beyond the Walls", will be released by 2017 and is considered to be the largest expansion of the three.
"Homefront: The Revolution" Performance Patch
Earlier this month, Deep Silver released a performance patch for "Homefront: The Revolution". According to PC Gamer, it was able to address some of the issues that players frequently run into such as improved framerates with an additional 15 percent and it also managed to fix some bugs. It also added new systems such as Renown and Guerilla Score. All patch notes can be found in the game's forum.
