Apparently, Saul, played by Mandy Patinkin, had hired Quinn, played by Rupert Friend, to take on Carrie. With that, Carrie will be trying to find some answers that lead her back to the past.

The third episode of the season is titled "Super Powers." It was revealed that Carrie and her live-in boyfriend, Jonas, played by Alexander Fehling, will be working together to revisit her past. A promo for the episode shows Carrie telling Jonas that she was already set on leaving her past behind.

However, she developed a list of enemies who could be responsible for that attack. The executive producer of the series, Alex Gansa, shared details about how Carrie is handling the fact that she was the target of the assassination.

He said, "It's her worst nightmare. Carrie is smart enough not to believe anything that anybody tells her. She hears it. She takes it in. She believes it or doesn't believe it. We'll learn more about that. Certainly the exigence of the moment and the fact that this guy was tortured, and under torture revealed this very interesting fact that she was the target, it does mitigate in favor of the fact that he was telling the truth. So she does have to take it seriously. Indeed, he was telling the truth."

"Homeland" season 5 airs every Sunday.
