'Homeland' Season 5 Finale Spoilers: Promo Video Teases Carrie In Trouble, Allison Taken Into Custody

In last week's action-packed "Homeland" episode, titled "Our Man in Damascus," Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) spots Qasim (Alireza Bayram) at the train station, where he appears to doubt his plans after seeing a child and a woman in a hijab. He then disappears into the tunnel with Carrie in pursuit. Meanwhile, Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) discovers that he has once again been tricked by Allison Carr (Miranda Otto).

While many fans felt that last year's season finale was a tad disappointing, it seems that this week's Season 5 finale will be anything but. With only mere hours before a major terrorist attack, fans will surely be on the edge of their seats watching Carrie try to foil the terrorist plot in Episode 12, "A False Glimmer."

In the promo video for the season finale, Carrie can be seen running after Qasim in the dark tunnel, visibly afraid and ready to shoot at any moment. Later in the clip, she is seen being disarmed by Qasim, who holds her against the wall with a steel bar at her throat and a hand over her mouth.

"There are hundreds of people on the platform; thousands in the station," Claire pleads with him. "That train will push the gas everywhere."

Fans will have to wait for the episode to find out if she is able to reason with Qasim. But from the video, it appears that she may have to be more forceful. At the end of the clip, Carrie is seen running towards a train and shooting at it.

Meanwhile, Allison is seen being escorted out of a car and up a flight of stairs into a house. Two men in black leather coats are with her and it looks like she has been handcuffed.

The Season 5 finale of "Homeland" airs on Sunday at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
